Absolutely. Please keep sharp knives and glassware at home, but everything else is fine to bring. If you need to pop out to your car to get your picnic at lunchtime, make sure you let our friendly gate staff know so they don’t count you twice.
Yes, Adam Spicer will perform acoustic guitar and sing throughout the day. Bring a chair and/or picnic rug to sit and listen while you eat lunch.

Yes, all tours commence at the designated Meeting Point.
· An Orchard guided tour will take place 12:00 noon
· Werribee River Association will provide a 1-hour guided walk of the Werribee River at 1:30pm.
· It is recommended that comfortable, sturdy footwear is worn for these activities.
As there are steps and uneven ground within the park, these tours are not suitable for wheelchairs or people with limited mobility.
There will be a day full of demonstrations and activities to watch and participate in. These include grafting, no-dig gardening, and keeping bees to name a few. Check out the Exhibitors List / Activities Timetable for further details. The Homestead and Bellenger’s Cottage will also be open for you to view.

In the event of extreme weather, Parks Victoria have the right to cancel the event. We will advise the public via our Facebook and Web page if the event is cancelled as soon as we are notified.
No. Dogs are not allowed in the Orchard or anywhere in the Werribee Park Precinct. Assistance Dogs are permitted at the event which is part of Parks Victoria. Click here for more information.

Yes, catch the Metro Train from Melbourne to Werribee and then the 439 bus, which takes you right into the grounds of the Werribee Mansion Precinct. The Orchard is located to the South of the Precinct.
Both cash and card payment options are available at the event.
Please note however, that there are no ATM facilities on site.

If we don’t have the tree you’re after, we can graft it for you (at a small cost) — but please know the graft might not take, and it’ll need careful attention while it’s young.
